Tecolote Canyon Natural Park
and Nature Center

Here we will find white and black sage, wild rose, jojoba, buckwheat,
willow, toyon, lemonade berry, and other food and medicinal plants.

Take Tecolote Road/ Sea World Drive exit off Interstate 5. Go East past Morena Blvd.
Drive to the very end of Tecolote Road, past the baseball fields and Community Park.
Go straight at the fork.
(there’s a sign for the nature center).

Meet in the Nature Center parking lot.
If you’re a bit late, don’t worry.
We’ll do the first 20 minutes looking at plants around the parking lot.
