The Summer sun can present unique challenges for our skin. Some folks don’t realize that the SPF factor of their sun screen only indicates the protection from UVB, the component of sunlight that gives you a tan (or burn).

Join us for this fun interactive workshop where you’ll learn about:

sun-protective clothing
how to make full spectrum natural sun block
how to treat skin cancer.
face, hair, massage, and bath oils, and body scrubs
how to use rejuvenating herbs and cooling teas to make your body healthy from the inside out and the outside in.

John will discuss the finer details of UV, including protecting your eyes and skin, as well as sun protective clothing. He’ll demonstrate making a natural sunblock that effectively blocks both UVA and UVB.

Jane will demonstrate face, hair, massage, and bath oils, and body scrubs, and use of rejuvenating herbs and cooling teas to make your body healthy from the inside out and the outside in, as well as how to apply holistic facials.
